Pair o’ Poufs (by Michelle Engel Bencsko | Cloud9 Fabrics)
If there is one thing my son and I share besides serious attitudes, it’s our love of food and cooking. Every year for christmas and his birthday I scramble to buy him more and more cooking supplies. This year is really no different. Instead now, we’re focusing on the farmer’s market to which we owe our thanks. Domestic Candy a blog I can’t read, but is fun to look at, posted this picture of presumably her child’s grocery store. The body of the farmer’s market is made from Ikea shoe shelves, which I happened to have handy. This made the both of us very happy. Although I was so excited I didn’t have the patience to get the thicker wood like hers and opted for some wooden stakes (don’t worry I sanded them), I think it’s coming along. Really goes to show you that DIY always ends in awesome creativeness.
Btw I’ll post pictures of little chef’s when it’s all said and done.
